I knew I was in need of strategic help regarding my decision to exit from my role as Executive Director of the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association. After serving the organization for nearly 10 years, I knew I wanted to not only take care of myself in ensuring I embraced new opportunities and challenges, but I also wanted ensure that the succession planning process was smooth for the organization.
